Summary, thesis and presentation
CoreNet Global’s Benelux Chapter also took the opportunity to announce the winner of the fifth annual Student Award Competition, which is open to Master of Real Estate students and post graduates across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and celebrates the most innovative and ground breaking thesis on corporate real estate management.
Wouter Würdemann of TIAS Nimbas was selected the winner from a shortlist of three finalists for his paper “CRE performance; the added value measured”. The judges selected the paper as the winner because it provides solid financial analysis and clearly illustrates the contribution that corporate real estate contributes to an organisation.

The other finalists in the Student Award competition were Chesta Khanna of TU Delft for “CRE Mirrors BRAND, Translation of corporate brand into real estate strategy to strengthen corporate identity”, and Leane Reijnen of TU Delft for “The European quarter, a future perspective: Spatial interventions from a stakeholder perspective in the European quarter in Brussels”.
